FAQ:
How does it work?
Botox injections work by weakening or paralyzing certain muscles or by blocking certain nerves. Our Nurse Practitioner will safely be making several small injections of botulinum toxin into the correct muscles in the face in order to reduce wrinkles. The Nurse Practitioner uses the smallest hypodermic injections and topical anesthesia to ensure procedures are largely pain free.
You will notice a gradual reduction in your wrinkles after 4-10 days. Treatment will last for approximately 3 to 4 months.
What areas can Botox be applied to?
Frown Lines: vertical lines between the eyebrows. Most commonly known as the eleven mark.
Forehead wrinkles: horizontal lines across the forehead.
Crow’s Feet: series of lines in the outer corner of the eyes, usual as we age and more prominent when we laugh or smile.
Smokers Lines: lines above the top lip, usually prominent in (ex) smokers but also occur in non-smokers.
Bunny Lines: lines at the top of the nose, usual in people who squint or frown often.
Brow Lift: drooping eyebrows caused through ageing can be lifted by approximately 3 millimeters.
